These terms apply to everyone who uses Festive Fotobooths: hosts who set up events, helpers they invite, and guests who use a booth or visit an event's photo pages. By using Festive Fotobooths you agree to them, and to our privacy policy.
Accounts and access
Festive Fotobooths is invite-only for now. Hosts need an account, must be at least 18, and are responsible for activity on their account and their event, including what their helpers do. Keep your sign-in email and your event's PIN secure. Guests don't need an account.
Fees
Festive Fotobooths is free during the invite-only period. If we introduce pricing, we'll tell you before anything is charged, and you won't be charged without agreeing first.
Hosts' responsibilities
- Let your guests know there's a photo booth, that photos go to a shared gallery and photo wall, and that some options use AI. Get any permissions you need, particularly for photos of children.
- Only upload invitations, logos and artwork you have the right to use.
- Check your booth before the event: the frames, wording and looks, and the booth check on each iPad. AI drafts and AI looks can make mistakes or turn out differently than expected.
- Provide the equipment: an iPad, a stand, power, and Wi-Fi or a mobile signal.
- Moderate your event with the tools provided, and take down photos when guests ask.
Photos and content
Hosts keep ownership of the content they add, such as invitations, logos and wording. Photos belong to the people who take them and appear in them, as far as the law allows. You give Festive Fotobooths permission to store, process and display content and photos as needed to run the booth and the service, including sending photos to our AI providers when an AI look is chosen, and showing photos on the event's photo pages, gallery and photo wall. Guests also give the host permission to view, download and keep the photos taken at the host's event.
AI looks
AI looks restyle a photo with new outfits and a new scene. Results vary and may not always match what was expected. Every look passes a safety check, but no check is perfect: hosts can switch AI looks off at any time, and every guest still gets their photo with the frame if an AI look fails.
Acceptable use
Don't use Festive Fotobooths to:
- create or share anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that exploits or endangers children;
- make looks or images meant to deceive, impersonate real people, or embarrass anyone;
- photograph people who haven't agreed to be in the booth, or share their photos against their wishes;
- upload content you don't have the right to share;
- break into, overload or interfere with the service or other events.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and report illegal content where required.
Keeping and deleting content
Photos stay up after the event so guests can find them. Hosts can hide or delete any photo at any time and download them all first. You can stop using Festive Fotobooths at any time and ask us to delete your event and its photos.
Changes to the service
Festive Fotobooths is new and will change as we learn from hosts. We may add, change or remove features. If we ever shut down a feature or the service, we'll give hosts reasonable notice and a chance to download their photos.
Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Festive Fotobooths reliable, especially on the day of your event, but it's provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Wi-Fi, devices and AI services can fail; have a backup plan, such as a second paired iPad or the virtual booth.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Festive Fotobooths isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content or photos created by hosts, helpers or guests. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your use
You can stop using Festive Fotobooths at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we must for legal reasons. Sections about content, disclaimers and liability continue to apply afterward.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change is significant, we'll email hosts before it takes effect. Continuing to use Festive Fotobooths after that means you accept the new terms.
